Founder
Aaron Lim is the founder of BBMedia (formerly BrandBoosty), Toronto's growth partner for ambitious local brands. Born and raised between Markham and Toronto, Aaron built BBMedia from a one-man content shop into a full-stack agency serving spas, restaurants, beauty brands, and lounges across the GTA.
Bilingual in English, Chinese, and Korean, Aaron has spent the last decade bridging the gap between mainstream Western markets and the Asian-Canadian business community — helping clients like Yue Spa rank #1 for “Best Head Spa Markham,” driving 60%+ membership conversion for premium wellness brands, and orchestrating 6 Cloud's brand collabs that have caught the attention of global names.
Aaron's philosophy is unfashionable: build everything in-house. BBMedia produces its own photography, films its own KOL content, designs its own brand identities, and even manages its own internal operations platform — so the work that lands on a client's table actually came from the team that knows their brand, not a chain of outsourced freelancers.
When he's not in client strategy sessions, Aaron runs Boostify, his personal content brand on Instagram and TikTok, where he shares founder-led marketing playbooks for local entrepreneurs. He believes the future of marketing in Toronto belongs to agencies that can move fast, in-language, and with real skin in the game.
