Founded in 2023 in Markham, BB Media (BBMedia, formerly BrandBoosty) started with a clear mission: help local businesses thrive in the digital age. What began as founder Aaron Lim building campaigns for a handful of restaurants has grown into a full-service marketing agency serving Toronto area businesses.
Today, we operate proprietary media channels with over 500,000 combined followers, manage a vetted network of KOLs and KOCs, and deliver end-to-end campaigns spanning content production, influencer seeding, paid advertising, web design, and AI-powered customer engagement.

Founder
Aaron Lim is the founder of BB Media (BBMedia, formerly BrandBoosty), Toronto's growth partner for ambitious local brands. In 2015 Aaron founded Goody25, which grew into one of Malaysia's top Chinese language media sites and was acquired by a listed media group in 2020. He moved to Toronto in 2022 and founded BB Media in 2023.
Fluent in English and Chinese (with working French and Spanish), Aaron built BB Media to bridge mainstream Western markets and the Asian-Canadian business community, helping clients like Yue Spa build a distinctive brand and show up in local searches like “Best Head Spa Markham”, while also co-founding 6 Cloud, the dessert brand whose collabs he helps orchestrate.
Aaron's philosophy is unfashionable: build everything in-house. BB Media produces its own photography, films its own KOL content, designs its own brand identities, even built its own internal AI operations platform, and runs client bookings through its exclusive booking system partner Bookla, so the work that lands on a client's table actually came from the team that knows their brand, not a chain of outsourced freelancers.
